Built by a pilot,
for pilots.

AIVR was founded by Rohit Yeligeti, a cadet pilot who understood firsthand the gap in DGCA RTR exam preparation resources in India. Most candidates relied on printed notes and informal WhatsApp groups — there was no structured, modern platform built specifically for the RTR exam.
AIVR was built to solve that problem. Every module — from the Part 1 question bank to the Part 2 simulator to the Pro scenarios — was designed around what actually appears in the DGCA RTR exam, following ICAO DOC 9432 standards throughout.

What is the DGCA RTR (A) exam?
The DGCA RTR (A) — Restricted Radio Telephone Operator's Certificate (Aeronautical) — is a mandatory licence for Indian pilots and aviation personnel to operate airborne radio equipment. It tests both theoretical knowledge (Part 1) and practical radiotelephony skills (Part 2).
Is AIVR free to use?
Yes. AIVR offers 6 minutes of free access per session with no signup required. RTR Part 1, Part 2 simulator, and Learn Transmissions are all accessible free. Full unlimited access is available at ₹99/month or ₹499 for the Combo Plan which includes a live mock test.
What does the RTR Part 2 simulator cover?
The Part 2 simulator covers all 6 flight phases tested in the DGCA RTR exam — Parked, Taxi, Departure, Enroute, Emergency and Arrival — following ICAO DOC 9432 phraseology. Over 500 unique scenarios are generated on demand.
How are Part 2 Pro Scenarios different from the simulator?
The Part 2 simulator generates random scenarios on demand. Part 2 Pro Scenarios are predefined with fixed aircraft registration, route, ATC frequencies, METAR weather and a complete question set — exactly like the real DGCA exam hall where candidates receive a fixed scenario sheet.
How does the AIVR Points system work?
AIVR Points are used to unlock Part 2 Pro Scenarios. Each scenario costs 5 points. Every subscription automatically grants 10 FREE AIVR Points — enough to unlock 2 scenarios immediately. Additional points can be purchased: 20 points for ₹20 or 40 points for ₹40.
How is the 1-on-1 mock test conducted?
The AIVR team conducts the mock test live via WhatsApp or phone call. The examiner plays the role of Ground, Tower, Approach and Control — covering all 6 flight phases. After the session, feedback is provided on areas that need improvement.
What is the Combo Plan?
The ₹499 Combo Plan gives you 28 days full access to all modules + 1 live mock test credit + 10 AIVR Points — all in one. Compared to buying a monthly subscription (₹99) and a mock test (₹499) separately, you save ₹99.
How many devices can I use my subscription on?
