Fourteen recorded classes that go past the portion and into the exam itself — RTR formats drilled phase by phase, examiner trick questions and how to evade them, special and conditional clearances, unusual situations, and real RTR previous papers solved on screen. Taught by Rohit Yeligeti.

RTR stands for Radio Telephony Restricted. The RTR (A) licence — commonly called RTR Aero — is issued in India by the WPC Wing of the Ministry of Communications, with the examination conducted by the DGCA. Every pilot flying in Indian airspace needs it, and no commercial licence is complete without it.
The examination has two parts. Part 1 is the written theory paper on regulations, radio equipment and propagation. Part 2 is the part candidates fail: a live oral examination on radiotelephony — transmission and reception, in real phraseology, under questioning from an examiner who is deliberately trying to find the edge of what you know.
Knowing the portion is not the same as passing Part 2. The examiner is not marking your notes; they are listening to whether the correct transmission comes out, in the correct RTR format, without hesitation, when the situation changes underneath you. That gap — between knowing and performing — is exactly what the PRO classes are built to close.
PRO is not a longer Fast Track. It assumes you know the portion and spends its time on the exam-day edge — the updates, the traps, the clearances that arrive without warning, and the papers that have actually been asked.
Every standard transmission structure — callsign, position, level, intention, request — and the exact readback expected back from you, drilled until it is automatic.
The questions built to catch you out, why they work, and the answering discipline that keeps you out of them.
Conditional line-ups, restricted clearances and the readbacks they demand — the area candidates most often lose marks in.
Unusual scenarios and situations that develop mid-transmission, and how to keep the phraseology correct while the situation moves.
Two full classes working through real DGCA Part 2 papers on screen — the actual questions, in order, with the transmissions built up live.
Interactive classes you answer along with: pause, make the transmission yourself, then play the ATC reply and check yourself against it.
Complete takeoff and landing sequences start to finish, so the phases join up instead of living as separate memorised blocks.
Recent amendments and changes in what is being asked, so you are not preparing for last year's examination.
Classes are released as they are recorded, and everything published is unlocked for the full length of your access. Working titles — the content is fixed, the naming may be refined.
An RTR format is the fixed order a transmission is built in. Once the structure is genuinely internalised, you stop recalling sentences and start assembling them: the callsign goes here, the position goes here, the request goes last, and the readback mirrors what matters back to the controller.
Candidates who memorise example sentences fall apart the moment the examiner changes one variable. Candidates who own the structure simply rebuild the transmission around the change. PRO teaches the structure for every phase of flight, then attacks it with variations until the structure holds.
RTR previous papers are the closest thing to seeing the examination before you sit it — not to memorise answers, but to learn the shape of the questioning. Two full PRO classes are spent solving real DGCA RTR Part 2 papers on video, in the order the questions were asked, with each transmission built up live rather than read off a sheet.
Beyond the classes, AIVR's platform carries a separate library of real exam scenario papers inside the Part 2 Pro module — each one a full paper with its own flight data, registration, frequencies and weather, exactly as it appeared in the exam hall. AIVR website premium is included with PRO, so that library comes with the course.
They are separate courses and separate purchases — buying one does not include the other. The deciding factor is how much time you have before the exam.
